Installing the system

Had looked at installing a heat pump for about 3 years but the original cost was around £6.3k but in late 2024 with the larger government grant and Octopus incentives it was around £3k and much more affordable.

Living with a heat pump

I went from a gas system boiler with smart TRVs on every radiator that was very efficient to a system with all TRVs open all of the time and maintaining a constant temperature. The heat pump is much more efficient although it's unclear what my bills will be like.
