Family of 5, living in a detached property.
Reason for ASHP - fairly researched and decided to go Eco.
Boiler was 12 years old; working but likely to require maintenance.
Long term financial savings & investment (hopefully) as we also have Solar Panels.

Installing the system
Installation - very smooth, the install team very considerate to our daily needs for continued hot water and heating (installed end of Jan 2025 - cold winter period). Dust sheets layer by team ensuring cleanliness maintained.
Duration to complete - 4 days to include majority of radiators being replaced with new ones.
Living with a heat pump
However, some changes have been required to adjust to internal room temp, hot water availability and warm/hot showers - in particular the duration of showers and availability of hot water (5 adults in the house). Particular challenge is in the morning.
