Installing the system

Due to the property being in a conservation area, we needed a light planning application which was handled by Octopus and was straightforward. Due to installing the tank in the loft, a platform needed to be installed before the heatpump installation. The installation took 2 working weeks. This was longer than anticipated due to the routing of pipes being more complex than a standard job (normally expected to be 4-5 days).

Living with a heat pump

The heat pump has been working reliably since installation and kept our house warm through the cold months. One minor difficulty was getting the shower to work with lower temperature water but we now have it working to our satisfaction.
