Living with a heat pump
I had the Air to Air heat pump installed December 2022 just before the extend cold snap over Xmas and New Year. It performed very well during this period and since.
I have solar PV and mainly use the heat pump for both heating & air conditioning when free solar electricity is available, Spring, Summer & Autumn. I still have a gas system boiler & cylinder and may use this in the depths of winter when not much solar available. For 9-10 months of the year I have free hot water from Eddi Solar Diverter.
