Daikin air source heat pump in a pre 1920 property

We have an old house. The infrastructure was outdated and it was impossible to keep the house warm. Prior to the heat pump our windows were saturated from condensation, but since, throughout this winter I haven’t woke up once to condensed windows. The house is warm and it’s nice to feel good and doing something positive for the environment.

Installing the system

The adjustment was pretty straightforward. That was very easy because you can control the heat pump on your phone.

The installation was the same. There were some issues with the outdated meter, but it wasn’t something that I had to deal with. The Octopus team took care of absolutely everything.

Living with a heat pump

I absolutely love it. I could never go back to gas. The heat is not the same, it feels very light and there are no more cold or hotspots.
