About me
I wanted to be able to run the house without using fossil fuels and save money at the same time.
Visiting my heat pump
The heat pump was installed by Octopus Energy. This is the second property that I have owned that had a heat pump.

Installing the system
I have found Octopus to be an excellent installer, if somewhat inflexible. The installation took about a week with between 3 and 4 people onsite. I also have home a home battery and solar panels.
Living with a heat pump
The level of comfort is excellent and my running costs are less than a gas boiler.
