Installing the system

Installation was about 2 days.
Boiler removed and prep work done on day 1 to ensure hot water was available.
Heat pump installed and connected on day 2
No radiator changes were made - most downstairs radiatoris were already double fin. We have 1 large open plan room that may require uplift in future but were prepared to wait and see and make changes later if required.

Living with a heat pump

We moved from head tank/gravity pressure hot water to mains pressure hot water. The pressure is unbelieveable - we've installed restrictors on all the showers. Hot water is plentiful and the ASHP runs for about 30 mins a day to provided 49degC water ( we have a 300ltr tank )
