Installing the system

No changes to my Victorian terrace needed! The installation was done in December 2024, and took a week, replacing a gas boiler. I used the Boiler Upgrade Scheme to get £7,500 off the cost. I'm now getting an electric hob so can get my gas capped off and the house will be gas-free.

Living with a heat pump

The house stays at a nice constant temperature, and so far this winter has run at cost parity to the gas boiler I had before. During warmer weather it will be cheaper to run than the gas boiler.
