Installing the system
I own a 140sqm property built in around 1918, with a single storey extension completed in 2020.
The house has had cavity wall retrofitted and under floor insulation completed in the extension and rear of the house but not in the front (yet!).
Install took 3 days and required 1 new radiator and 3 radiator swaps.

Living with a heat pump
Currently the heat pump is working really well and was installed in February 2025 so I don’t yet have enough data for a full cost comparison vs gas at this time.
