Daikin air source heat pump in a 1920 - 1944 property

Main reason we installed the heat pump was environmental. We also have solar panels and electric cars. I think there are often unfounded concerns about living with a heat pump and we would like to help people understand if one is right for them. As our house was built in 1930 it is a good example of converting an older property.

Installing the system

Most of our radiators were changed as part of the installation. We also got planning permission due to the location of the heat pump. A lot of disruption/work but the installers were great and very good value for what was done.

Living with a heat pump

Our lounge used to be the coldest room, now it is fine. Kitchen-diner not as warm as before but OK. Very pleased with the result.
