Originally a little sceptical but keen to move away from oil and gas boilers. Don't believe everything you read about heat pumps. If the system is designed properly they work perfectly. A very happy convert.

Installing the system

Octopus installation with the BUS govt grant to replace an oil fired system. Had to get planning permission given proximity to neighbours although planning rules due to be changed. Had to install hot water tank and upgrade a number of radiators to accommodate the low temps.

Living with a heat pump

Been excellent. House has never been so warm and draft free. Running costs are also very competitive and much lower than I expected.
