Air source heat pump

EPC rating: C73 before heat pump was installed but after other work completed.

Cost of energy bills per year: Circa £600

Installing the system

The heat pump was installed as part upgrading our 40 year old house. Other work done included replacement of all the old single glazed windows and doors with new double glazed units, increasing loft and ground floor roof insulation from 25cm to 45cm, and increasing wall insulation at the double integral garage interface to current building regulation standards.

Living with a heat pump

Excellent, no technical or other problems experienced.

We are at the end of a 3 house shared drive at Badger Farm, Winchester. Best to park on Hazel Grove or Rooks Down Road.
