About me
We decided to go ahead with the heat pump install after a friend of ours had a really positive experience with their system; we felt whilst the grant was on offer, it made sense to future-proof our home.

Installing the system

Our installation went incredibly smoothly, the scaffolding was errected a few days prior to the arrival of the install team and all the materials and heat pump were delivered a week ahead. The install took 3 days, although the team had allocated 5. The team were fantastic, incredibly thorough and cleaned up everything after themselves. The lead installer took the time to go through all the operations of the system with us and helped us set up the app.

Living with a heat pump

It's been a definite change from living with a gas boiler; as the house is now a constant temperature all of the time. It took a little dialling in with the hot water and how/when to do that heating, but it was easily sorted via the app for the heat pump.
So far, it's been a really positive experience and it's worked better than expected. The things that surprised us most was how quiet the system was comparatively to a conventional boiler/tank system. The house is quiet all the time now!
