Happy to help people be informed about their options, especially those with a gas boiler that's getting on. Our Vaillant gas boiler was around the end of its warranty period, that was our trigger for enquiring. A few months later, it's installed! Happy to demo it and share our experience.

Installing the system

Very happy with an Octopus install that took a week.

Living with a heat pump

Very, very happy so far. House is consistently warm, and more comfortable. No issues with late March / early April low overnight temperatures. Running costs seem to be less than gas.
