About me
We are a retired couple, and we decided to invest some of our savings in the future by getting rid of our gas boiler. We also had some solar panels installed, and are very pleased with the result.

Installing the system

The installation took about a week, and was carried out by a lovely team. We needed to extend our airing cupboard to accommodate the new tank. Because of the low eaves, some of the pipe work had to go through the bedroom, near the ceiling, but we are boxing that in.

Living with a heat pump

It took us a couple of weeks to get used to the new system, but are now enjoying the ambient heat throughout the house - no more boiling hot radiators or cold spots. We are still adjusting some temperatures to get the balance that we need, as we are not terribly ‘tech savvy’, but we’re getting there!
