Have 4.5kw solar system without battery. We have been considering replacement of Combi boiler as it been installed since the property was build. Things starting to goes wrong. With government grant of £7,500 and cost only £2,500 to install AirSource heatpump, radiators and hot water cylinder is a no brainer!

Installing the system

Octopus installers have been very good and tidy. They keep us informed from day one of what ans when is happening. The installers install floor protection down prior to any work. They have also clear up their working areas every night to allowed us to enjoy the property safely after their work each nights. They took 4 days to remove and install and another day to commission, clear rubbish and handover.

Living with a heat pump

It took a few days/nights for the heatpump to bring the property back to normal temperature and we also learn to adapt to AirSource heatpump way of living. Set the temperature up ready for heats
