I have been interested in green technology as a way of off-setting that my job does to our atmosphere. I’ve had EV for 6 years. My home is one of the most efficient and green in the UK. It originally had a high ‘B’ (87), so I set about improving it. I took out the gas hob and replaced it with an induction one. I then had 20 PV panels installed along with two 5kw batteries and a hot water iboost system. Next I had the Daikin Heat Source Pump installed by Octopus energy. This completed my ‘greening’ of my home. There really isn’t much else I can do to make it more efficient. The house is now an ‘A++’ (112). My only utility bill is for electric. From April to November I am a ‘ZERO’ user and I export the excess energy I create. I charge two EVs, two batteries and 300 litre of water a day, all for free! Get onboard and save money and at the same time save our planet.

You don’t notice it, it does its job quietly and efficiently.
