About me
My husband and I are an older couple who want to feel warm sitting in our living room. Converting completely from our gas boiler was not a feasible option but this is an eco friendly and cheap way to heat our living space.

Visiting my heat pump
Do contact me via email with questing or to arrange to visit our room air to air pump. NB this is not a whole house system and does not qualify for the grant but it costs a lot less too and heats our living room very quickly.

Air source heat pump

Installing the system

It was very easy to install. Planning permission in Wales required the outside unit to be 3 metres from a boundary which we could just achieve. The internal unit is located high on a wall. An electrician first had to install an outside power point.

Living with a heat pump

We've not lived in our home long to fully test it through the seasons. It's saved us using our gas central heating the last month and has cost only pence to run. We'll soon have solar panels and a battery so it should be even more economical. It does require an annual service
