We had our heat pump installed mainly because we felt it was better for the environment. I get irritated when people say they don't work in older properties so I am happy to demonstrate to visitors how ours works well in our 300 year old (not very well insulated) house!

Installing the system

Our house is 300 years old. We previously had oil central heating and the oil tank took up a lot of space in our garage. The installation process was painless although we had to have some radiators replaced.

Living with a heat pump

The heat pump has been good. It has worked well and keeps the house warm.
