About me
We recently bought a new house which needs a lot of modernisation but the heating system was very old. We decided with the government grants it was worth making the investment and moving to a green heating system. We actually found that the installation price for a heat pump was on par with a gas boiler after the grant.

Installing the system

We had all our water tanks removed from the loft and old boiler taken out. We had our gas capped at the same time. All our radiators were changed and upgraded with some additions added. Our hot water tank was removed from the airing cupboard and moved into the garage just behind where the heat pump was located outside. The installation took around 5 days.

Living with a heat pump

It's great the house has never been so warm. Takes time to adjust to the controls but it is working well now.
